Our holiday homes are ideally located in the heart of the Vaucluse, 5 minutes from the centre of Carpentras and just 500 m from the greenway.
From Mont Ventoux to the perched villages of the Luberon, from the Côtes du Rhône vineyards to the Dentelles de Montmirail, from Provençal markets to towns of art and history: here are our favourites to help you plan your stay.
Visible from the terrace, Mont Ventoux (1 910 m) towers over the whole region — a unique playground for cyclists of every level.
A flat, safe greenway, built on a former railway line, starts just steps from the house. Perfect for a family bike ride through vineyards and orchards, with no car needed.
For the more sporty, the legendary climb sets off from Bédoin (≈ 25 min). We regularly welcome cyclists and offer a space to store bikes safely.
Hiking trails, a 360° panorama over Provence from the summit, and the Nesque gorges on the road to Sault.
The Carpentras market, every Friday morning, is one of the largest in Provence. In winter, Carpentras becomes the capital of the black truffle.
And almost every day, a village has its own market:
Bédoin (Monday) · Vaison-la-Romaine (Tuesday) · Velleron (farmers' market, late afternoon) · Pernes-les-Fontaines (Saturday) · L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (Sunday).
Market days to be confirmed depending on the season.
We are in the heart of the great vintages of the Rhône Valley. Less than 40 minutes away: the Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise, Vacqueyras, Gigondas and the famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape, not forgetting the wines of the AOC Ventoux.
Estates and tasting cellars can be visited all year round — the loveliest way to bring home a souvenir of Provence.
These finely chiselled limestone ridges, about twenty minutes away, offer superb walks and hikes (and climbing for enthusiasts).
All around, villages full of character to explore: Gigondas, Lafare, Suzette, La Roque-Alric and Malaucène — among vineyards, olive groves and views over the Ventoux.
Gordes
Roussillon
About 35 minutes away, Gordes — listed among the most beautiful villages in France — clings to the cliff facing the Luberon, right next to the Sénanque abbey and its lavender. Roussillon and its Ochre Trail unfold cliffs of red and gold, perfect for a family stroll. Also worth seeing: the Provençal Colorado of Rustrel, Ménerbes, Lacoste and Bonnieux.
From mid-June to mid-July, lavender sets the region ablaze. The most beautiful spots: the Sénanque abbey and the Sault plateau.
Distilleries and markets let you take home essential oils and lavender honey.
25 minutes away, the "Venice of the Comtat" and its canals: famous for its antique dealers and its large Sunday market.
Close by, the Fontaine-de-Vaucluse (the most powerful spring in France) and the river Sorgue, ideal for a canoe trip in summer.
Just about ten minutes away: the Wave Island water park and Parc Spirou (rides and a comic-book world).
And on your return, the villa's private swimming pool, the pétanque court, the table football and the table tennis await young and old alike.
Avignon and its Palais des Papes (≈ 30 min), Orange and its ancient theatre (≈ 30 min), Vaison-la-Romaine and its Roman remains (≈ 30 min).
A little further afield, Aix-en-Provence and Nîmes (and its arena) are easy to visit on a day trip.
